ChamEO is here to help the hobbyist with resources and ideas for improving chameleon care.
ChamEO also takes in any chameleon, rehabilitating those that are not well and seeking homes for those that are.
We are non-profit with 501(c)(3) status.
Chameo offers a wide range of services to enhance our Education & Outreach goals. If you cannot find what you are looking for in the below services, feel free to contact us regarding your specific needs. We encourage an open community that welcomes questions, suggestions, and new ideas.
HUSBANDRY WORKSHOPS:
ChamEO invites all eager chameleon keepers to our Husbandry Workshops to hear from professionals in the field speak on a variety of topics. Some of our workshops feature a DIY portion for creating a ChamEO-approved habitat. Suggested donation for each workshop is $20. For DIY workshops there will be a fee for required supplies.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
If you are a college student looking for volunteer hours in a fun learning environment, we welcome you to assist in daily data collection while working with the chameleons. Other research opportunities will become available this year as we expand in an academic direction with the assistant of local biology professors. We will update as soon as we have more details to share..
REPTILE SHOWS:
You can find ChamEO represented at most reptile shows in or around Los Angeles, California.

EVENTS:
We are passionate about education and love to present at schools and community centers. If you would like to request ChamEO’s presence, please email us via the Contact Page. We are open to all educational events but, please, no birthday parties – we do not use chameleons for entertainment purposes.
OPEN HOUSE EVENTS:
We host an Open House for chameleon keepers to meet each other and network in a friendly, welcoming environment. Elisa features her culinary skills with an impressive brunch spread that leaves guests counting the days until the next gathering! These are an invitation only event and limited.
